Jeff is currently working as a research assistant with a professor at UCLA which involves, among other things, working with children who have autism and acting as a teaching assistant for a 275-person university lecture.  

Megan currently works at a retirement planning consulting firm as a network analyst in the information technology department and bravely commutes 26 miles in the treacherous Los Angeles traffic on a daily basis.

But come August we are packing up the kids (a.k.a. Jeff's cats) and moving to Austin, Texas.  Jeff will be going to grad school at the University of Texas to get his doctorate in special education with a specialization in autism, and Megan will be finding her fourth new job in as many years.  In the following years, Megan will return to school and earn that elusive bachelor's degree in Sociology and some additions will be made to the family (e.g., dogs, cats, and human babies).
